Requiring only standard 230 Volt, Single Phase power the 10 HP (double motors) electric motor Timbery sawmills are designed to provide the milling power of 18 Hp (approximated)  gas driven mills.

Our electric sawmills features a mechanical clutch that allows the motors to keep running between the cuts without having the blade running all the time.  This eliminates frequent motor stop/start that demands a lot of power and wear down the motor faster.   Our double motors (2 X 5HP) electric sawmills are based on large sawmills and other industrial machinery using two electric motors to start a load without an excessively large power draw.  Disengaging the blade at the end of each cut is also safer and greatly reduces the wear on the blade. 

Power Requirements:  230 Volt, Single Phase, 60 Hz, 50 or 60 Amps circuit (standard welder plug).
